I consider myself a mixed media, assemblage and paper
art artist. Mixed media and handmade book art allows me to work
with paints, papers, collected ephemera, buttons, brooches, fabrics and threads also collected from a
background in quilt making. My assemblage art explores ‘the house’ concept.
My creative curiosity has led me to being a distracted collector of items from Op Shops! This fits well for me to recycle and repurpose what some may consider junk items.
I enjoy teaching children and adult students. Giving yourself permission to ‘play’ is essential for our mental
health and personal growth. Art is not a luxury. Be curious and explore.
