I am a textile artist working with merino wool and silk, creating shawls, wall art, felted sculptures and more. I love natural and eco-friendly materials – wool and silk let me explore endless textures, layers, and forms.
My inspiration comes from nature. Since moving to New Zealand, I am surrounded by landscapes, the ocean, flowers, birds, and butterflies – and I capture these impressions in my wool paintings and wearable art, using nuno felting, needle felting, or by combining these techniques.
My journey began in 2009 in Poland, where I created handmade bridal and evening dresses using nuno felting with wool and silk. These early works, presented at fashion shows and art fairs, became the foundation for my current practice. My shawls have since been sent to
galleries in New York, Florida, Canada and Austria.
I am a self-taught artist. I did not graduate from art school, but I have loved creating since childhood. I studied tourism because my second passion is travel, and perhaps this is what brought me so far—to the other side of the world.
Since 2019, I have lived in Browns Bay, Auckland, where I work from my colourful and cosy
studio. My art reflects two worlds – Poland and New Zealand – and everything I create is handmade with natural fibres and time.
